Lidia passed away on Tuesday, January 11th 2022 at the age of 70. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer in May of 2021.

Her husband, Graham (Harry), passed away Sunday, July 29th 2018 and they are survived by their son, Andrew.

Lidia was born in Szczecin, Poland. This is where she spent her former years before emigrating to England. Graham was a sailor in the merchant navy and travelled the world before meeting Lidia in Szczecin and both settling down in Lingfield, Surrey (UK). They married in 1972, and their son Andrew soon followed in 1974.

Graham joined Universal Highways (now Colas) in Rowfant near Crawley as an engineer and Lidia, after a brief spell at cosmetics company, joined the Lingfield Hospital School in 1979 (now Young Epilepsy) looking after children with disabilities. Both stayed at their chosen professions and employers until retirement.

The family would enjoy their annual road trips across Europe to see family and friends during the summer holidays. Both were keen gardeners and loved wildlife.
